Where exactly does the driver meet me?
After passport control and customs, in the public arrivals hall of Sharm el-Sheikh Airport: the driver holds a sign with your name. If you cannot see him, write on WhatsApp — the number is in your confirmation. He follows the flight number, so a delay or an early landing is not a problem.
Sharm el-Sheikh is the one Egyptian airport with a free “Sinai only” entry stamp for stays of up to 15 days in South Sinai: Sharm, Dahab, Nuweiba and St Catherine. It does not allow travel to Cairo, Luxor or Hurghada — for those you need a full visa (e-visa or visa on arrival).
Do I need a visa, and where do I get it?
At Sharm el-Sheikh you can enter on a free “Sinai only” stamp for up to 15 days in South Sinai, or buy a full visa (e-visa in advance, or visa on arrival before passport control). Choose the full visa if you plan Cairo, Luxor or Hurghada. Rules change — check the official sources before you fly.
Is there a bus, or how do people get to the hotels?
Sharm el-Sheikh Airport: there is no airport bus to the hotels — taxis at the exit negotiate the price.
Nabq Bay hotels are the closest to the airport (about 10 minutes), Naama Bay and Sharks Bay 15–20 minutes, Old Market and Hadaba about 25 minutes; Dahab is 85 km through the mountains.

What if my flight lands at 2 a.m. or is delayed?
Nothing changes: no night surcharge, and the 60 minutes of free waiting start from the actual landing. If the flight is cancelled or moved to the next day, we move the transfer or refund it.

SIM card and cash at the airport
ATMs and exchange counters are in the arrivals hall; mobile operators (Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, WE) sell tourist SIM cards with your passport. The driver waits while you buy one.
