Not confirmed by us as of 27 October 2026. Opening and rules can change at short notice; the operators of the terminals and your government’s advice are the only reliable sources.
Can RideEG drive me to or from Taba?
Not at the moment: crossing trips are on hold until we have an official status and an owner decision. Inside Egypt we drive Sharm el-Sheikh – Dahab and to St Catherine; ask us on WhatsApp if you need Nuweiba.
Which visa do I need on the Egyptian side?
Historically, travellers entering at Taba could get a free “Sinai only” stamp for the Aqaba coast resorts; it is not valid for Cairo, Luxor or Hurghada. Check the official Egyptian visa portal and the FCDO entry page for the rules that apply to your passport.
What fees are charged at the Israeli terminal?
The Israel Airports Authority publishes the crossing fees for its land terminals, including Taba (Menachem Begin); check the current table on its site before you travel.
How else can I reach the Sinai resorts?
By air to Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH): the airport gives the free “Sinai only” stamp, and Dahab is 85 km by car from there.
